FOM SERIES PARTNERS WITH THE F-STOP

FOR THE BEGINNING OF THE SUMMER SERIES

Columbia, S.C.  – June 3rd will kick off the summer session of the FOM Series with a bang as Frame of Mind will bring another of their indoor/outdoor shows to life in the 1500 block of Main St.

Frame of Mind has partnered with 5 Points stalwart the F-Stop to bring you the 1st photography show in the FOM Series history.  Grant Robertson (owner of the F-Stop) has handpicked Travis Teate, Thomas Hammond, and Lind Lee to show their work in a combined format inside of Frame of Mind.

For the outside component, Josh Beard and Cedric Umoja will be working their art forms live for all to see, Cassie Premo Steele and friends will read their original poetry, and The Dubber will highlight the music portion of the show.

Amanda Ladymon will be in the Silver’s Building (1546 Main) with her installation “Rhizomorphius:  Cycles and Entrails”.  The opening of the installation will be the beginning of a three week process that will include periodic additions to the display, open studio time for the artist and patrons to partake in the process, and closing with a talk by Amanda Ladymon about the process of the installation on Thursday June 24th.

Anastasia & Friends (in the lobby of the Free Times building) will be open to highlight its newest display featuring artists Anastasia Chernoff, John D Monteith, Mary Ann Haven, and Ric Standridge.

And as an added bonus, StaceyO StudiO massage will be on hand giving free massages and Cellar on Greene will sponsor a wine tasting at Frame of Mind.

Frame of Mind is open Tuesday through Friday 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday 12 pm to 4pm and is located at 1520 Main Street across from the Art Museum in Columbia, South Carolina.
